Reshaping Surgical Services within the Barts Health Group

As part of a ten year strategy, Barts Health are working towards transforming their surgical services. The drivers for reshaping the surgery services within Bart Health are to improve patient access, experience and outcomes of services.

Our Barts colleagues have produced an engagement document that summarises the case for this change, in line with the local system transformation plans. The document outlines areas such as:

  1. Proposals to reshape surgical services within the Barts Health Group
  2. The reasons for changes
  3. What the changes means for patients, hospitals and staff

As part of the development of these proposals, Barts Health and WEL CCGs will be going out and listening to views from clinicians from across the local health and social care system along with voluntary sector and patients groups.
