Barking and Dagenham CCG has a Patient Engagement Forum (PEF) which provides residents registered with a Barking and Dagenham GP an opportunity to influence decisions about local healthcare. Local clinicians and CCG staff attend the meetings to talk to the group about changes to local NHS services or answer questions about healthcare issues of concern to PEF members.
If you would like to find out more about the Barking and Dagenham CCG PEF, please contact Annie Robertson, Communications and Engagement Manager.
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients interested in health and healthcare issues, who want to get involved with, and support the running of, their own GP Practice.
Contact your GP surgery for more information on how to join and take a look at our leaflet about PPGs and what they do.
Our Governing Body meets in public four or five times a year to make decisions about local health services and how to improve them for the benefit of patients and the public. Patients and members of the public can ask the Governing Body a question about local healthcare and our priorities.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your question seven days before the meeting.
