Health services
If it is hard for you to visit a doctor during normal working hours, ask for an early or late appointment. Many outer north east London GP practices are open longer than 9am - 5pm, and some are open on Saturdays.
If you are not registered with a GP and need medical help,

- or you can visit one of our walk-in centres. You do not need an appointment.
Walk-in centres
- The Barking Community Hospital walk-in centre, at Upney Lane, Barking, IG11 9LX; tel 020 8924 6262. It is open Monday to Friday 7am - 10pm and Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays 9am - 10pm, all year except 25 December.
- The Broad St walk-in centre, at Morland Road, Dagenham, RM10 9HU; tel 020 8596 4400. It is open on Monday to Friday 7am - 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 6pm all year, with slightly shorter opening hours on 25 and 26 December and 1 January.
- The Orchard Village walk-in centre, at Roman Close, Rainham, RM13 8QA; tel 01708 793900. It is open Monday to Friday 10.00am - 2pm and 3pm - 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm, closed Bank Holidays.
- The Oliver Road polyclinic, at 75 Oliver Road, Leyton, Greater London, E10 5NF, tel: 020 8430 8320. is right next to the Leyton Orient Football Club complex in Waltham Forest. It is open 8am - 8pm every day, all year.
- The Loxford polyclinic is at 417 Ilford Lane, Ilford, Essex, IG1 2SN; tel 020 8822 3800. It is open 8am - 8pm, 7 days per week. For more information see the Loxford polyclinic website.
