Date: 11 December 2017
Our consultation regarding proposals to restrict eligibility for cataract surgery and podiatry; stop funding certain non-essential health procedures; and no longer prescribe some ‘over the counter’ medicines in Barking and Dagenham has now closed.
We would like to thank everyone who responded to the consultation, we appreciate you taking the time to comment.
We will now analyse the feedback received, as well as the equality impact assessment, and clinical and financial data that will enable our GP clinical directors to make their recommendations. These recommendations will be presented to Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge’s Governing Bodies at a joint meeting on Thursday 14 December 2017. Governing Body meetings are 'meetings in public' which means anyone can come along. Before the meeting there is an opportunity for you to ask questions – for more information visit the Governing Body section of the website.
