Clinical commissioning groups work with a wide range of partners in the local area to ensure that health services are high quality and you can get the best service you need locally.
Our key partners include local people and patients, Barking and Dagenham GP practices, Havering and Redbridge CCGs London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, independent contractors, London Ambulance Service, NHS England, the Health and Wellbeing Board and Healthwatch Barking and Dagenham.
We work closely with our local hospitals to ensure that are services are integrated and that we provide a seamless pathway of care across organisations.
The hospitals we work with most closely in north east London are:
BHRUT is our major acute hospital provider, with hospitals in Romford (Queen’s) and Ilford (King George). We and our CCG neighbours are heavily involved in work to improve services and patient experience at BHRUT, especially A&E services.
Barts Health runs five hospitals: Whipps Cross University Hospital, Mile End Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, Newham University Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital. It also runs the Barking Community Birth Centre, based at Barking Community Hospital.
NELFT provides community health and mental health services across the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.
